"Let Energy Flow:" The IONBath Footbath

The before and after results of an ionic footbath performed by the IONBath
Ever wondered what an ionic foot bath is like? Or what happens once the foot bath is complete? Take a look at these Frequently Asked Questions about a foot bath with the IONBath.

Q: What is an ionic footbath?
A: An ionic foot bath is when a person bathes their feet in ionized water.

Q: That's cool, but how does an ionic foot bath work? What does it look like?
A: An ionic foot bath is really simple and pain free. A person simply puts their feet in a basin of warm salt water. An ionizer is put in the water, and the ionizer creates an energy field that stimulates the cellular energy in your body. This stimulation allows your body to cleanse itself naturally while restoring and normalizing pH and energy levels.

Q: So, why do you have to add salt to the warm water?
A: Adding salt to the water is the key to the cleansing process because the reaction between the salt and the ionizer creates what's called conductivity in the water. This means that when the ionizer and the salt react they create positive ions, and these positive ions attract the negative ions of the toxins in your body. These toxins then show up as differently colored flecks in the water.

Q: Wait. Does that mean the colors in the picture are real?
A: Absolutely! A very slight filter was added so you could see the flecks, but the color of the water is absolutely real. The toxins in your body come out through the skin of your feet, which changes the color of the water. Each color and each texture that comes out of the ionizer means something different. For instance, our Facebook manager Sofia volunteered this picture for us. Here you can see black flecks in the water. These flecks are actually black and they indicate that Sofia has some heavy metals that are being detoxed from her body. If you look closely in the "After" picture, you can see a clump of bubbles. Those bubbles have a white color and a bunched texture which indicates that Sofia is also detoxing candida, or yeast.

Q: That all sounds like it hurts..
A: It doesn't hurt at all! Some people say they experience some tingling during the foot bath, but there should never be any pain involved. That means that if you have cuts or blisters on your feet you shouldn't have a foot bath. The salt in the water will aggravate your cut or blister.

Q: So, if I have a cut or blister on my feet, can I not have a foot bath? Do I have to detox my feet?
A: Not at all! There have been plenty of people who have done a foot bath on their hands and they say they have had the same experience!

Q: Why should I get a foot bath? What are some of the benefits?
A: There are LOTS of benefits to getting a foot bath! A lot of our customers report reduced arthritis pain, fewer headaches and migraines, reduced menstrual pain, improved hormone balance, improved skin and nail condition, and people have even said they detox a lot of heavy metals.

Q: Wow! Can anyone get a foot bath?
A: Yeah! But, there are some people who can't and shouldn't get a foot bath because the process of detoxifying is not good for them. The people who should avoid foot baths are people with heart conditions or who are taking heart medication, people who have had an organ transplant in the last 3 years, people who are taking medications for psychotic episodes or seizures, people who have open wounds that will be exposed to the water, and pregnant or lactating women.

Q: So, how much are foot baths?
A: Regularly, they're $30, BUT for the month of October, they're half off. That means you can get a foot bath for $15! It's a great bargain! Anyone can stop by The Shoppe for a walk-in or call (706) 884-1332 to schedule an appointment.
